Role description:
As a General Manager you will be responsible for driving and accelerating the growth of Pronova Laboratories worldwide. This pivotal role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, covering the full commercial spectrum from product development, business development and international expansion to optimizing operations and partnerships.
With a focus on international growth, professionalization of processes, and operational excellence, the General Manager will lead Pronova into its next stage of development. This includes building strong products, expanding global partnerships, and ensuring smooth integration between product development, quality, regulatory, and sales.
Reporting directly to the shareholders, the manager will lead a compact but highly skilled team (R&D, D&D, QA/RA, supply chain, and sales), whereby the General Manager balances strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and execute the company’s strategic direction, with a focus on international expansion and professionalization.
- Oversee daily operations across R&D, QA/RA, supply chain, sales, and marketing.
- Push developments towards final MDR-certified product.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships worldwide.
- Oversee cross-functional alignment between product development, regulatory, quality, and sales.
- Drive revenue growth while safeguarding cost efficiency and profitability.
- Inspire, coach, and develop the team, fostering an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.
- Represent Pronova to key stakeholders and partners globally.
The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, commercial acumen, and operational leadership. With international experience in consumer health, OTC, medical devices, pharma, or FMCG, or/and they thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Requirements:
- 3 – 7 years of experience, including leadership in management, commercial, or operations roles.
- Proven track record in driving business growth and Profit and Loss responsibility.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to optimize revenue and costs.
- International experience with medical devices, consumer health, FMCG or related regulated industries is a strong plus.
- Empathetic and entrepreneurial leader with excellent people management skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.

Senior Full Stack Developer – Innovative Social Platform
Location: Amsterdam/Muiden
Well-funded startup seeks talented full stack developer to help build an innovative social media concept. We’re looking for someone with experience designing and building complex systems who can work efficiently and deliver quality results quickly.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of full stack development experience with modern frameworks (React/Next.js, Node.js, Python), along with a strong UI/UX design sensibility. An AI-first development mindset and experience with ML integration are essential, as is real-time application experience. Familiarity with social/consumer products is helpful but not necessary.
Requirements:
- 4+ years full stack development
- FastAPI + SQLAlchemy/Alembic
- React Native (Expo)
- PostgresSQL + pgvector for vector operations
- LLM / ML Integrations
- RAG system development
- Text processing and embeddings
- AWS/GCP deployment
- Graph algorithm and social network analysis experience (feeds, connection mapping, recommendation systems)
- Strong UI/UX design instincts
- Ability to work fast and own major parts of the stack

- Own significant portions of both frontend and backend
- Shape product decisions from technical perspective
- Build AI-first features from ground up
